Are you a former Wheeling Jesuit choir member? If so, the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) invites you to join Alumna Meredith Dean Augustin, nationally known liturgical composer and musician, in celebrating the work of former employee Dr. Michael Galligan-Stierle during the ACCU Vigil Mass on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 in Washington, D.C.
Galligan-Stierle, who serves as the president of ACCU, began his 50-year career of service to Catholic higher education as the Director of Campus Ministry at Wheeling Jesuit University. His current role as president of ACCU will come to an end in June 2019.
Wheeling Jesuit alumni will have the opportunity to meet and talk with President Michael Mihalyo.
Augustin will be leading the choir for this vigil. A link for all the liturgical music will be given to choir members prior to the event, and a rehearsal will be held in the afternoon on Saturday. If you are interested in singing in the choir, please contact Diane Walsh at dwalsh@accunet.org, no later than this Tuesday, Dec. 18. For more information, please visit the official site
