The Wheeling Jesuit University Appalachian Lecture series in collaboration with the Appalachian Institute and with the support of the Wheeling Jesuit 50 Year Club is pleased to announce it will be featuring lecture speakers on an annual basis. Mr. John Glaser Ph.D., a member of the class of '66, will kick off the series on Thursday, November 8th at 6:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall inside the C.E.T. building. Each lecture will be presented by a WJU alumni. Mr. Glaser will be covering the topics of the scientific and moral aspects of climate change and the Pope's encyclical Laudato Si. The event is open to the community, and all WJU campus parties are invited to suggest topics for further consideration or play leading roles in future lectures. Subject matter of the annual series will encompass all features of life in Appalachia which underscores the Jesuit concern for regional and global neighbors.
