Moffit, who was a member of the WJU volleyball team, said she will “encourage my classmates to live life to the fullest” during her address.

“Attending Wheeling Jesuit was one of the best decisions I made. The past four years have been a great experience,” she explained. “My four years have been filled with a lot of good memories – I was a member of the (NCAA DII) National Championship Volleyball team and I was surrounded by faculty who made learning fulfilling.”

This semester, Moffit said the team competition – that encouraged sports teams to attend campus events – created a great bonding and competitive experience for her. “Thanks to this challenge, I was able to get to know more people and participate in all types of activities.

What Moffit is most grateful for is the campus community. “Wheeling Jesuit provides students with a great community atmosphere – it’s like a family.”

Following graduation, Moffit will spend her next four years earning a medical degree from Ohio University in Dublin, Ohio.
