Steffany Krieg Finishes 1st in Final Tournament
Senior Steffany Krieg will not compete during the Cardinals 2010 Spring Season which begins in March, as she will graduate from Wheeling Jesuit in December with an Accounting Degree.

WJU Finishes Fourth In Women's WVIAC Northern Regional
Moundsville, WV, Oct. 12, 2009---WJU shot 694 in the WVIAC Northern Regional, earning a fourth place finish. Freshman Rachel Hickman shot 83 both rounds and placed sixth on the leader board at 166. Senior Steffany Krieg shot 84 twice for a 168 and ninth place overall while freshman Erin Metzger broke the top twenty at the 16th spot with a 178, shooting 86 and 92.

Despite the cold, wind, and rain on the banks of Lake Erie, the Lady Cardinals placed third in the Gannon Invitational at Lake Shore Country Club.

Steffany Krieg Leads the Way at Southern Regional
The Lady Cards women’s golf team is beginning to excel, proven by scoring their best two day total (650) during the five year history of the team. West liberty won the event with a 635 total, and our 650 total was second, beating Concord by one stroke and Ohio Valley by eight.

Vail Appointed to Regional Committee
Head Golf Coach, Sue Vail has been appointed to the NCAA DII Regional Advisory Committee for women's golf. This committee will decide what teams and individuals advance to the Eastern Regionals and Nationals which will be played in May 2010 at Mesa, Arizona. |

Sue Vail Announces Class of 2013
Women’s Golf Coach, Sue Vail, is announcing her three new freshmen players for the fall of 2009 at Wheeling Jesuit University. Vail said, “These three players will make an immediate positive impact on our program for they have been playing tournament golf for many years and have been acclimated to a high level of competition.”
