Men's Soccer Falls to No. 4 Millersville

Millersville, PA, Oct. 10, 2009--- Wheeling Jesuit men's soccer falls 2-0 to Millersville University, the number 4th ranked team in NCAA Division II, on Saturday afternoon.

In the opening half, neither team found the back of the net.  The Cardinals attempted two shot in the period and neither shot was considered on gaol.  The MU Marauders (11-1) attempted four shots in the first period and WJU's goalie, Shane Young, recorded three saves.

The second half opened with a Millersville goal in the 48th minute for a 1-0 advantage and they struck again in the 74th minute making the game 2-0. Young made one save in the second half, bringing his total to four in the game.

The Cardinals will be back in action on Tuesday, October 13th in a conference match against Ohio Valley University in Vienna, WV at 3:00 p.m.
