Alumni Weekend 2008
Comments

What a great weekend...one of the best Alumni weekends I've been to in 16 years. It felt just like old times again. We had the chance to reconnect with old friends, as well as hang out with alumni that we never really knew during school. Not to mention the crazy class of 1973! Thank you and your team for all your efforts in making this Alumni Weekend so memorable. We are already looking forward to next year! — Jen Drozdowski ‘92

I just attended Alumni Weekend with some friends and had a blast! We had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people that we would have never met had it not been for this weekend. —Vicky Blatt Minzler ‘93

We had so much fun at Alumni Weekend! It was great to hang out with old friends, make new ones  - especially on the dance floor at the Ratt where we danced for three hours straight: be invited to another class party (thanks class of '73): stay up all night (just like old times): and just laughing until our sides hurt.  It was a weekend that we'll remember for a long time!  Hope everyone will come back next year! — Laura ’93 and Don ’92 Benson

We had so much fun having the Ratt and Bookstore open, at the picnic and one the tour. I haven’t been back since 1998. It was so great to be home. All of us had a fantastic time. Long Live 1973! – Tanya Smigocki ‘93

I can tell you that all of us from the class of '83 had a fantastic time.  We are already talking about returning next year. Thanks for making it a fun weekend for all of us. — Sandy Martel ‘83

Thanks to you and Janet for all the obvious hard work that went into the weekend. Your presence was testament to the fact that you were determined to make the whole thing a success. I'm sure you realize that the Class of ' 73 has no problem having a great time and we certainly did!  Thanks for everything. — Mary Fallon, ' 73

My wife, Karen and I just returned from my 40th class reunion, and were so glad we went. We were both so impressed with the look of the campus. It had been lots of years since I was there last and the positive changes were everywhere.

The things most meaningful to me about the visit:
• getting to see a wonderful group of classmates and friends and hear about so many others.
• renewing my appreciation for what I know was an exceptional education (along with being a heck of a good time).
• looking around the group at the Alumni Mass on Saturday night and realizing just how special a Catholic education was, and the obvious impact it still has on us.

My best hope, in light of the reality of declining numbers of Jesuit teachers, is that we never lose the emphasis on the "Jesuit" curriculum. The theology, the noetics, the epistemology, logic, etc. was probably not as appreciated at the time, but boy did it make you think and reason. I am very grateful and it’s paid off many times.

Thanks for a great job, — Paul Clark ‘68
